Hi Louise,
I'm finally getting around to thanking you for everything in the months coming up to the wedding to they itself!! To be honest you were a big factor as to why we choose Johnstown House as our wedding venue. You did an amazing job and everything was perfect. We received so many positive comments regarding staff, service and food! I think one of the guest Cathy Anne was in touch about booking it for her wedding! She said you were on the ball and were great at keeping everything running smoothly! We just had such a super day although it goes too fast!! Looking forward to looking see the video and photo to refresh my memory!!
I rang during the week, we misplaced Conor's shoes, they were little slip on in size 9 in black. I've my umbrella behind the desk I've to collect it...we were so scatty!!

We had the most fantastic day the staff here at the hotel could not have been more helpful, friendly and attentive. The facilities were great, the food at the reception and the service was fantastic. We had our wedding reception at the end of August in Johnstown House Hotel. Whilst we are not yet married 4 weeks I can honestly say that since the day we have been inundated with people complimenting our choice of hotel. To say the service and standard (both room and food) far exceeded our expectations. I couldn't say enough good things about this hotel but if you are looking for that extra special place where you know all your guests will be looked after then it has to be Johnstown House Hotel. Louise is just so good at what she does and makes everything so seemless. I only wish I could do it every year! We will be back before our 1st year anniversary as we simply couldn't wait that long, Thanks to all within the hotel for making this day as fab as it was.

We have booked Johnstown house hotel for our wedding in 5 and half weeks and i love it. The staff are so friendly and cant do enough for us. We done our menu tasting in Feb and it was amazing. The wedding co-ordinator Louise is great and really friendly and does great in trying to get as much as you can out of your budget.

Hi Girls

I just wanted to 'dear diary' my day and tell you all about the wonderful suppliers who made it so fantastic.

…Then it was off to the Johnstown House, where Louise, the Wedding coord, met us at the door with champagne. We were a bit early so we had time to have some of the canapes before we went out for some photos. Then inside for the family photos in the atrium area and then we finally had 10 minutes to ourselves while everyone else went into the room for dinner. I could not believe how amazing the room looked when we got there!!...

…Our meal was so good. We had ceasar salad to start, and then we were particularly looking forward to the leek and potato soup which we had tried at the menu testing, which was just incredible. That was followed by a mojito sorbet, which everyone raved about, it was something totally different. We provided a choice of beef wellington or chicken, as we knew a number of guests don't really eat fish, and both were lovely. We were stuffed by the time the assiette of deserts came out, but it didn't stop me trying all 3 anyway!!!...

… When it was all over so many people said to us that it was one of the best weddings they'd been to. I know people are obliged to say they had a nice time but I take it as a good thing that they went so far as to say that. We got particular compliments on the church, food and entertainment. Plus I have to say the service in the Johnstown House was faultless. Louise is lovely to deal with but all the staff there are so nice.

Finding the venue for our wedding was tricky .... After weeks of visiting hotels we were driving through Enfield one day and happened to come across the Johnstown House Hotel – we popped in and fell in love with it straight away....

We met with Louise and nothing was a problem – we could have whatever kind of wedding we wanted.....sit down meal, buffet style, finger food, any day we wanted.....it was such a change from all the other hotels we had visited. So we settled on our date and set about the planning.

...We arrived at the hotel and honestly – they couldn’t have done enough for us. Louise met us at the door with more Champagne and we chatted for a few mins before we headed off for photos. ... The meal was fabulous –.... We had a dj then to bring us up to the end of the night and then we headed into the residents bar for the family sing-along! We headed to bed at about 4am and we really couldn’t believe that the day was over and that we’d had so much fun. Then next day we sat around catching up with family and friends – about 25 of us stayed the second night and the hotel arranged for us to have dinner in the Johnstown Room rather than the restaurant which was lovely – we had such a great night that night too and the food was amazing. We had a waiter in the room that didn’t get a break for the whole night – he was topping up wine, serving dinner and running to the bar for drinks – he certainly earned his money that night. We headed off on honeymoon early Saturday morning still talking about how much fun we’d had.

I can say hand on heart I had the most amazing day – I wouldn’t change a thing and can highly recommend the Johnstown House Hotel & Spa – they were brilliant.
