The best measure of our success is the feedback we receive from teams who have stayed at our unique Centre of Excellence.
"The Johnstown Hotel in Enfield has everything required to run a top class training camp. Great rooms, great food and a great pitch which is just 2 minutes walk from the rooms. Throw in the gym facilities and excellent spa for recovery and you have everything needed for a top class camp".
Roy Keane on behalf of Sunderland AFC
"I would like to take this opportunity to convey my personal thanks for the first class service from your staff, accommodation and quality of food that the team and I received during our stay. The attention to detail was excellent. The onsite training pitches were also of great benefit to the team. These facilities enabled us to have an efficient and effective training schedule while staying at the hotel."
"Many thanks for the superb services available to us over the last 2 days. The facilities & accommodation for the players were second to none. No request was too much for any member of staff I came into contact with and we were made to feel extremely welcome. We will most definitely be using your Hotel for future events."
"On behalf of the Kildare Senior Football Team, I would like to thank you and your staff for the wonderful hospitality we received during our stay. The level of service was outstanding. The week could not have gone any better for us, with the food and facilities being of the highest quality. I hope that we can repeat the exercise in the future and I have no doubt that the 40 people who stayed there will all recommend your hotel and facilities to others."
”As Habs are returning for a 4th year, and St Olave’s booking again, I would like to express our thanks for the wonderful job, Johnstown done for our Sports groups! Both the indoor, and outdoor, training facilities are remarkable while the quantity, and quality, of your food satisfies even our voracious appetites.
Our touring success in Dublin is in no small measure to the Johnstown Hotel experience”.
If you are looking for state of the art modern facilities, then Johnstown House is the ideal place to bring any sports team. The atmosphere was great, the staff are polite and helpful, and the catering was of a high standard. I can personally recommend it.

In August 2011 we travelled to Johnstown House for a pre-season training camp for our senior squad. We had looked at travelling to Portugal and Spain for this camp but found the expense when compared to Johnstown House to be far too much.
We brought a squad of 30 players, 2 coaches and 1 S&C coach for a 4 day camp.
We found Johnstown House to be the perfect setting for an intense preparation camp.
I found the hotel to be excellent value for money and so impressed were we that when we made the final of the ‘School’s Cup’ in March 2012 we returned for another training camp in preparation for it.
Overall our experience of Johnston House was exceptional and the boys still refer to it today. I would have no hesitation in recommending Johnstown House to any sporting organisation looking for a venue for a training camp to enhance the performance of their team.
City have now returned back to Bradford following their week-long stay in Ireland as part of their pre-season programme.
Basing themselves in Enfield, Phil Parkinson's squad took part in two friendly games in the country - beating Wexford Youths and Bray Wanderers - as well as getting several intense training sessions under their belt.
The football club would like to take this opportunity pass on a massive thank you to the staff of Johnstown House Hotel for all of their help during City's stay last week.
After defeating Wexford and Bray during their time in Ireland, City will now turn their attentions to next Wednesday's (1 August 2012) friendly fixture at Guiseley AFC. Phil Parkinson reckons City’s week in Ireland has been worth a month of training at home.
The Bantams bring their time away to an end this afternoon when they face Irish top-flight side Bray Wanderers before flying back from Dublin tomorrow.
And Parkinson has rated the trip – City’s first off the mainland since 2001 – as a huge success.
The City chief knew what to expect after bringing Charlton over three years ago and believes the club will reap the rewards from their stay at the Johnstown House hotel complex in Enfield.
He said: “The training camp has gone very well. It was good to get all the lads together for a week of intensive work.
“We can monitor everything they do, whether it’s on the pitches or what they are eating. We make sure they are doing everything professionally.
The lads also get to know each other so much better. We know how important that is because we’re going to have to rely on each other during a long and tough season, which it undoubtedly will be “It’s a good venue and the pitches are excellent. There’s obviously been plenty of rain this summer so the ground has got a lot of give in it, which is ideal.”
We refer to the above matter and our Intermediate Football teams recent stay at Johnstown House Hotel.
We would like to thank the hotel and all the staff during the course of our visit for their hospitality and service provided.
The training facilities, overnight accommodation and food provided over the course of the two days were excellent and provided our team with a quality training base for the weekend.
On foot of the above it will be our intention to recommend your facilities to other sporting organisations and in addition it would be our intention to use the facilities provided by the Hotel in the future.
